Ankiapp export11/19/2023 ![]() I’m absolutely crushed so I‘m here to warn everyone to stay away from this app. And my medical school entrance exam is in a month. All in all, it means I wasted half a year making these cards and all my flashcards(biochem, chem, physics, GRE, everything I worked for) are all gone. And I couldn’t even download the ones that I had previously that WAS in the cloud since it told me that the deck is incomplete and can’t be downloaded. All the hours spent making those cards- wasted. AND THEY WERE WRONG, HALF OF MY FLASHCARDS ARE GONE. After around 10+ emails to support, they finally replied and advised me to reinstall the app since all my data is in their cloud. However, soon after, the app started to crash when I try to make a new card/open/sync/study or just simply stay in the app. After spending nearly half a year making around 50 decks of flashcards without any issues, I chose to upgrade it since I found it so user friendly. The rating in the AppStore was good (4.7) and even higher than the original Anki mobile so I downloaded it thinking that it was a better version of the Anki mobile. I had no idea that AnkiApp wasn’t part of the Anki ecosystem when I first downloaded it.
